A harness brings together the information sources, tools, permissions and rules around an AI system. The term can mean different things in different systems. In our enterprise work, the emphasis is on controlled operation within the company’s workflow.
Suggestions and actions need different permissions
Preparing a purchasing suggestion is different from sending an order. The application must define approvals, records and failure handling explicitly.
Adapt it to the organisation
Identify the sources and owners for one workflow, then connect the model, tools and approval points. The goal is a recorded, traceable outcome that can be reviewed, as well as a useful answer.
